Global Motion Model for Stereovision-Based Motion Analysis
نویسندگان
چکیده
An advantage of stereovision-based motion analysis is that the depth information is available, thus motion can be estimated more precisely in 2.5D stereo coordinate system (SCS) constructed by the depth and the image coordinates. In this paper, stereo global motion in SCS, which is induced by 3D camera motion in real-world coordinate system (WCS), is parameterized by a fiveparameter global motion model (GMM). Based on such model, global motion can be estimated and identified directly in SCS without knowing the physical parameters about camera motion and camera setup in WCS. The reconstructed global motion field accords with the spatial structure of the scene much better. Experiments on both synthetic data and real-world images illustrate its promising performance.

Motion Detection in Driving Environment Using U-V-Disparity
Motion detection in driving environment, which aims to detect REAL moving objects from continuously changing background, is vital for Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) applications. This paper presents an efficient solution for such problem using a stereovision based method. First, a comprehensive analysis about 3D global motion is given based on ”U-V-disparity” concept, in which a 5-parameter mode...
متن کاملBidimensional Motion Charge Map for Stereovision Disparity Analysis
Up to date several strategies of how to retrieve disparity information from a sequence of images have been described. In this paper we introduce a method to retrieve disparity based on motion and stereovision. A motion representation in form of a bidimensional motion charge map, based in the so-called permanency memories mechanism is presented. For each pair of frames of a video stereovision se...
متن کاملStereovision depth analysis by two-dimensional motion charge memories
Up to date several strategies of how to retrieve depth information from a sequence of images have been described. In this paper a method that turns around the symbiosis existing between stereovision and motion is introduced. The central idea behind our approach is to transpose the spatially-defined problem of disparity estimation into the spatial-temporal domain. Motion is analyzed in the origi...

متن کاملIntegration Scheme for SINS/GPS System Based on Vertical Channel Decomposition and In-Motion Alignment
Accurate alignment and vertical channel instability play an important role in the strap-down inertial navigation system (SINS), especially in the case that precise navigation has to be achieved over long periods of time. Due to poor initialization as well as the cumulative errors of low-cost inertial measurement units (IMUs), initial alignment is not sufficient to achieve required navigation ac...
